This season has quite a variety of isekai themes, and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying it. Today, let’s talk about one of them, “Reincarnated as a Noble with an Appraisal Skill: I’m OP, but I Began an Inn,” or something along those lines. I’m not sure if it falls under the “isekai” genre, but either way, I feel like the male lead is already winning right from the start.
The protagonist of the story was originally an ordinary office worker in the real world, but then suddenly died due to a heart disease.
After his death, he reincarnates into a noble family in another world and becomes an important heir to their household, which manages a territory with nearly a thousand people.
I actually don’t understand it much myself. Nowadays, it seems like many anime series are quick to slap on the isekai reincarnation label. What’s the point? It feels like they could tell a smooth story without the reincarnation plotline.
After being reincarnated into the new world, the protagonist, Yars, quickly learns the new language and script, and masters various aspects of the new world. Although the country where the protagonist resides is powerful, it is also fraught with crises. Meanwhile, his family’s territory is not particularly large.
However, the protagonist possesses a unique skill that others don’t have: he can discern the hidden abilities of others and fully understand what they excel at, choosing to utilize their strengths.
I have to admit, that ability is incredibly powerful. After all, the key to ruling the world lies in utilizing talented individuals!
When observing the soldiers training at home, he noticed that one soldier, as a spearman, had no place to shine, while as an archer, he could fully utilize his strengths. Subsequently, he allowed this soldier to try it out, and as expected, Yars’ judgment was correct. His ability is indeed genuine.
The protagonist’s ability is truly indispensable for a lord, especially since talented individuals are hard to come by!
The protagonist also has a premonition that the country he is in will eventually be on the brink of war and destruction. Sooner or later, he will need to lead his soldiers into battle. Therefore, he must utilize his ability to recruit enough talent to assist him.
The result is that the protagonist searches the streets tirelessly, just to find truly capable and useful individuals.
As a result, just when he wasn’t finding anything satisfactory, a Malga person was chased out of a shop because Malga people were generally regarded as incompetent and dirty here, so people were unwilling to approach them.
However, the kind-hearted Yars took the initiative to offer food and help him. After this, through his own appraisal eyes, he saw that this Malga person, whose name was Liz, had extraordinary talent in worldly affairs. His combat and strategic abilities were both off the charts, comparable to Nobunaga!
However, although Yars is the lord’s son, it’s not easy to get people to accept Malga people. After all, discrimination is deeply ingrained, making it difficult to change.
Including Yars’ father, who was initially against it. However, with Yars’ insistence, his father finally decided to challenge Liz. If this Malga person could touch him within a specified time limit, then he would win.
In the end, as one might expect, Liz narrowly won, and his strength also came from his determination to repay Yars.
From then on, Yars began his journey of gathering talent and strengthening his territory!
Overall, this kind of anime is one where you can see the direction of the plot at a glance, but even so, it still feels engaging to watch.
If you also enjoy this genre of anime, then I highly recommend everyone to catch up on this anime series. It’s definitely worth watching!
Alright, no more talking! Happy binge-watching, everyone!
